About the story
One sunny morning, {name} is playing in the courtyard when a small grey cloud called Badal floats overhead, frowning and raining on everything. Dado's washing gets wet, the toys get wet, and everyone wonders what's wrong. Instead of getting cross, {name} looks up and asks Badal why he's so sad. It turns out Badal isn't mean at all, he's just lonely because nobody ever plays with him. With a little advice from Dado and some help from Baba, {name} invites Badal to fly a kite on the rooftop. As the kite swoops and dances, Badal begins to giggle, his frown turns upside down, and a rainbow spreads across the sky. By bedtime, {name} and Badal are the best of friends, and your little one learns that kindness is the sunniest thing of all.
