What we collect

• About your child: their name, age, whether they are a boy or girl, and the photos you upload.
• About you: your name, mobile number, email address, city and delivery address.
• About your order: the book, style and format you chose, your dedication message or story idea, notes from our calls, and your payment receipt.
• From the website: basic technical information such as your browser type and pages visited, kept in server logs to keep the site working and secure.

How we use it

We do not use your details for anything else without asking you first.

• To draw your child into the book and write their name into the story.
• To call or message you about your order, send your preview and confirm details.
• To email you your order number and updates about your order.
• To check your payment and keep accounting records.
• To deliver your book through our courier.

Your child’s photos

• Photos are used only to create the illustrations for your book.
• We never show your child’s photos or illustrated pages in ads, on our website or on social media unless you give us written permission.
• We use AI illustration tools to draw your child in the book’s style. Photos are sent to these tools only to create your pages. We do not use your photos to train any AI model.
• Only our team can open the photos. They are stored privately and are never public on the website.
• Photos are deleted automatically 30 days after your book is delivered, or 30 days after an order is cancelled. The finished pages of your book are kept for the same time in case you need a reprint, then deleted.

Who we share it with

We share only what each service needs to do its job, and we never sell or rent your information. These are:

• The courier company, which gets your name, phone number and delivery address.
• The AI illustration tool, which gets your child’s photos to draw the pages.
• Our printer, which gets the finished pages of your book.
• The companies that host our website, database and email, which store your information for us.

Payment receipts

We keep payment receipts and basic order details (order number, amount and date) for our accounting records, as businesses are required to. We do not keep your child’s photos for this.

Cookies

The website uses only the cookies it needs to work, such as keeping our team signed in to the admin area. If we add tools that measure our advertising in future, we will update this page first.

Your choices

Message us on WhatsApp or email hello@example.com with your order number.

• Ask us what information we hold about you or your child.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your child’s photos or your details at any time. If your book isn’t finished yet, we may not be able to complete the order without them.

Keeping it safe

The website uses a secure (https) connection. Photos and receipts are stored privately and can only be opened by our team after signing in.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
